Live Better

Vanessa shares a powerful and practical guide to help women who feel overwhelmed and exhausted recover their true selves - and their joy in living.

If you feel overwhelmed, The Soul Solution provides a simple framework to help you, including concepts like:

  • Radical responsibility - is when you decide to take responsibility for your own life.

  • Quiet your inner critic - how to retrain your inner voices to encourage and support you.

  • Energetic breadcrumbs - how the universe signals to you when you’re on the right path

  • Chasing gold standards - stop chasing them and discover your North Star

Achieve More

What if you succeed…

This is a question more people need to ask themselves.

It’s a common belief that we don’t start because we’re afraid of failing.

But, in her book, Existential Kink, author Carolyn Elliot points out we’re not afraid of failing. Instead, we’re afraid of:

  • Being successful

  • What we are truly capable of

  • Of letting our brightness shine through

This is Shadow Work.

Shadow work involves working with your unconscious mind to uncover the parts of yourself you repress and hide and to understand why.

As Carl Jung said, in one of my favorite quotes,

Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.

I’ve always been decisive, proactive and have taken initiative.

But, have never lived fully in my light.

I’ve never explored the fullness of my capabilities nor have I been willing to put myself fully out there.

This is a conversation I had with my Sister.

How have each of us allowed our childhood, our lives, to shape our personalities.

We’ve allowed our past to shape our willingness to stay in our own shadows. To not embrace our inner gold.

Something I learned through COVID is life’s too short and there’s no time like the present to live your life, to:

  • Step into your fullness

  • Put yourself out into the world

  • Not be afraid of your potential success

I’m going to continue to be decisive, proactive and take initiative and I will step fully into my light and my potential.

Next time you find yourself scared, ask yourself, whether you’re afraid to fail or you’re afraid to succeed, and

Stop hiding in the dark.

Be Financially Free

Success is not a straight line.

There will be ups, and there will be downs.

There may even be days you don't want to get up.

Give yourself grace. Be patient and get back to work.

I had minor surgery this week and felt this way today and did what I could.

Continue to take daily steps on your personal, professional and financial journey and give yourself grace when you need to take an off day.

Here are the most interesting things I came across this week:
